BIOPHEN® Heparin (anti-Xa, 2-stages kit)
Chromogenic anti-Xa method for measuring homogeneously heparin in purified systems or in plasma (tested diluted 1:10) using a two stage method.
First, Factor Xa, in excess, is inhibited by heparin in presence of AT III, also in excess (and provided in the assay), then the residual Xa activity is measured by its activity on the specific substrate SXa-11.
Intended use: Assay proposed for the measurement of anti-Xa Heparin activity in research applications acc. to Pharmocopoeia. This assay meets USP/EP requirements.

BIOPHEN® Heparin (anti-IIa, 2-stages kit)
Chromogenic anti-IIa method for measuring homogeneously heparin in plasma (tested diluted 1:25) or in purified systems, using a two-stage method.
Offers a wide measurement range from 0 to 1 IU/mL for plasma, or from 0.002 to 0.04 IU/mL for purified systems and is appropriate for testing heparins for their anti-thrombin activity.
Intended use: Assay proposed for the measurement of heparin anti-thrombin activity in research applications acc. to Pharmocopoeia. This assay meets USP/EP requirements.
